18kt 145.022-69 Just Sold at Monaco Legends!

Just sold for Euros 37,000.

While this might be considered a strong price, given the condition, the watch came as a full set, including original papers and the very rare crater box.

I have to say I do find the complete set very attractive, and can forgive some of the condition issues, which don’t really seem that serious when balanced against the rarity of both the watch and the set.

Examining the watch closely shows a worn and enjoyed watch – no crime there. However, I have to think that if offered naked, it might have fetched around 20–25000 Euros in today’s market.

It is definitely an attractive example, and an apparent bargain compared to one offered by Phillips before lockdown for over $100k.

I think the buyer should be pleased with this watch.
